    Discussion on republican political views

There's actually no republican party in my country but I've read about republicans and their political views seem a little... concerning to me.
What do you think about republicans? About their views?
What do you think are the good things the republican party has achieved in the past? And what about the bad ones?

The Tea Party now dominates American politics. It sprang up because of the failure of the Republican Party and the Democrat Party to control runaway government spending. The core values of the Tea Party are 1. free markets, 2. fiscal responsibility, and 3. constitutionally limited government. The Tea Party has the values of our Founding Fathers, and the Tea Party has the principles that made America the most prosperous nation on earth. These values overlap with those of the Republican party, and when the Tea Party holds Republicans to the core principles and prevents socialism and crony capitalism, it is doing America a favor. The Tea Party might save America from bankruptcy and from socialism.

I do not have much knowledge of the norms and practices of US politics; however, i am convinced about one thing that the Republicans have always been so conservative and self-esteemed. Their world view is too self-esteemed and they would always introduce things that are mostly offending for other nations. As for the Democrats they have been more popular in other states than their own country because of their relatively open world view and their willingness to take other nations on board in their different ventures concerning to the international community. Frankly speaking if the Republicans are extremist then the Democrats are half moderates and half extremists. Therefore the emergence of a third party was an event bound to happen and now it turns out that it was to be the Tea Party that is mostly cashing in on the failure of the successive governments in utilizing the national resources for the nation.

It would be nice if a third party would emerge, such that it merges the good ideals of both the Democrats and Republicans. Maybe, just maybe, this would be the eventual solution to all conflicts that are happening in American soil.
